We’re Bob and Bart, and we’re good friends who enjoy sailing together. We always manage to combine the useful and the enjoyable after a fantastic sailing trip. Our fleet is designed in this manner, so that after a fantastic day sailing in the Greek waters near Corfu on a magnificent and dependable sailing yacht, you can relax and unwind.
”I fell in love with sailing after sailing in flotillas in Corfu, Lefkas, and Turkey. In the Netherlands, I used to sail on a Valk as well as a 36-foot aluminium Huisman on the IJsselmeer.
Bart and I decided to launch a small charter business. Our boats have been renovated and are in excellent condition. To accommodate our guests, we provide a variety of skippers and flotilla leaders.”
”Water has always fascinated me... I was on the water from a young age and therefore I made the water my job. From New Zealand to the north Russian coast, I sailed all seas as a skipper. Crossed all oceans, which in those days were navigated with a compass rather than a chartplotter.
My sea experiences and passion for sailing have ensured that I have inspired and prepared many sailors to sail the sea safely with ‘The sea sailors of Marken’.”
