🌺 Right in the centre of Corfu island’s East Coast is Corfu Old Town. The oldest town has a wonderful atmosphere and therefore is lively, especially at night. The UNESCO has classified Corfu Old Town as a World Heritage Site. 🇬🇷 Due to the breathtaking Venetian architecture and rich history, it has received this honour. As you stroll through the streets, you’ll notice Venetian influences and be in awe of the stunning structures you see all around you.✨
Corfu’s cobblestone streets and small alleys should not be missed. Get lost and explore the side streets. Discover charming stores and churches, as well as residential streets where people connect and wash their clothes.
When looking for a place to rest your legs and have a drink or meal, there are a variety of cafes, restaurants, and pubs to choose from to. Enjoy a tasty, affordable, and fresh Greek dish while you will be entertained by singers, bands, guitarists and other performers. 🎶 After dinner, be sure to reserve room for a visit to one of Corfu Old Town’s many gelato shops. 🍦
If you are visiting Corfu during your sailing adventure, we highly recommend making time for an evening in the Old Town. There is a lot to do and see in this lovely town.🌺
